Happy New Year! I hope this writing reaches you all happy, healthy, and well. This is the time of year when new year's resolutions and short- and long-term goals are birthed. It's funny because people create these extraordinary plans and quickly abandon them. I admit I used to be one who'd plan and implement a goal, get distracted or discouraged, and quit. Quitting was the easy thing to do, but there were way better things to do. Nothing started changing in my life until I did.
When I realized the duality we all possess, it reminded me that I was responsible for my life's condition. I learned to take ownership of my life's experiences because it was only me. No one else, just me! It's so much easier to place the blame on an outside entity so we don't have to take responsibility for our lives. Did you read the last two words? OUR LIVES. They are ours and ours alone, which means you will be the only one held accountable.
A little intention sprinkled with a lot of accountability goes a long way. This year, I encourage you to be intentional with your words, thoughts, and actions and see things work out in your favor. I dare you! Being intentional and taking ownership of your life's experiences involves accepting that you are a co-creator and willing to accept responsibility for what is or is not being created. The wonderful thing about being a co-creator is that you have the power to change at any given time if you are not happy with what is being created.
As for me, I am dedicated to transforming and evolving as a divine being. I am holding myself accountable for being disciplined, committed, and consistent with the work required to experience this transformation. I encourage everyone to implement some form of inner work to aid them in self-reflection and introspection. There's no one else to do it but you! Let's all take ownership of what we create for our lives. Accountability truly fits you!
As always, the divine in me recognizes the divine in you!
